FLATS Test Information

The Foreign Language Achievement Testing Service (FLATS) is a test of language proficiency available in over 50 foreign languages. It allows students with substantial previous experience in a foreign language to receive up to 12 pass/fail credit hours. The FLATS test is offered through the Humanities Technology and Research Support Center (HTRSC) at Brigham Young University and proctored at Mount Liberty College.

To register for an exam, complete the FLATS Registration Form using the information below and pay the $50 registration fee. After our office receives the FLATS test, they will notify the student and schedule a time to administer the exam.
